the world of interiors

The world is complex. Each day we are engulfed by myriad stimuli - colours, patterns, textures, sounds and movement. They are everywhere; they define us. They impact our places, preferences, culture and sensibilities. They come fast and constant, are characterised by their diversity, and at times, can be confrontational.

The studio provides me a refuge; it is a quiet contemplative space. If offers an environment where I can synthesise and distil. Where the external world can be internalised. It is a place where I am afforded the opportunity to pause and reflect, a place where I can recall, revisit and reinvent.

My artwork is the culmination of that practice - it is how I make visible the inherent beauty, vibrancy and rhythm of our world.
